Online Resources for Young Adults

Whatworks4u.org - This organization aims to improve treatment for young people with mental health problems by gathering information about what works in the real world. Young people share and learn info about how to live well with their mental illness.

ReachOut.com - Information and support service using evidence based principles and technology to help teens and young adults facing tough times and struggling with mental health issues. All content is written by teens and young adults, for teens and young adults.

Strength of Us - Online community designed to empower young adults through resource sharing and peer support and to build connections for those navigating the unique challenges and opportunities in the transition-age years.

Mindyourmind.ca - Canadian website for young people that has everyday heroes, celebrities and musicians sharing their mental health stories, a toolbox to help young people handle stress and resources when nothing else seems to work.

Headspace - National Youth Mental Health Foundation in Australia (but they also have really good info for those of us on the other side of the globe, including cool videos!). They help young people who are going through a tough time.
